Poaching and illegal trade are the biggest threats to animals. Elephant and Rhinoceros’ tusks are used as accessories, as well as for medical purposes since they are believed to cure different types of diseases and relieve pain. Wildhood Foundation works to protect some of the most endangered species by supporting local efforts against poaching and illegal trade.

What the project delivers

Campaigns and events to increase knowledge on poaching, support local efforts as well as developing the organization’s work.

Why we support this project

Biodiversity is important to ensure sustainable development and protect endangered species for future generations.
