Kultivator

Explorations of Now is an artistic and scientific research process inviting a new way of collaboration between the fields of visual arts, performing arts and scientific and philosophical research. The research process will be based on existential questions and discusses through concrete actions and artistic creation.

In this project, Cullberg, in collaboration with Cultivator, The Institute for Futures Studies, and Rikstolvan will explore how art and science together can inspire increased community engagement and explore the challenges of changing into a sustainable way of living in a climate-changing world.

The project is supported with 3 500 000 SEK

What the project delivers

Four public meetings with invited researchers, speakers, seminars, and knowledge exchange at each location are planned to explore how to achieve real change.

Why we support this project

The project creates meetings between cultural creators, researchers, students, environmental organizations, business representatives and a mixed audience, from urban and rural areas. It aims to explore how we can shape more desirable images of what it is like to live together in a sustainable future.
