Increased globalization creates large impacts on society and the environment, with imminent threats from polluting industries, international crime, false news, and corruption. Investigative journalism plays an important role in exploiting abuse of power and structural injustices, challenging existing norms, and promoting positive change. In this project, International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), will create a digital platform for investigative journalists, as well as develop the organization’s external operations targeting journalists worldwide. In the long term, ICIJ’s work will lead to revelations of illegal or unethical acts.
