Historieberättarna

Art and culture can serve as powerful tools for communication, development, and collective connection—while also allowing us to explore both our inner and outer worlds. To work toward a better world, we must first be able to imagine one. Art creates space to challenge familiar patterns and explore new ones.

In this project, Historieberättarna work with the theme of peace—a state we must continuously highlight, talk about, imagine, hope for, and strive to achieve. The project is rooted in collective creative processes, emphasizing the importance of finding ways to think and act together, since the challenges of the future are shared by us all.

The project is part of the Swedish Postcode Lottery Foundation’s initiative “Creativity, Imagination, and the Power to Envision.”

What’s happening in the project?

• Creative workshops based on participants’ thoughts, aiming to expand our imaginative capacity
• Public exhibitions across Sweden showcasing the sculptural works – the clouds
• A digital gallery on the project’s website, making the artworks accessible online
• A series of seminars and conversations inspired by the project’s central theme

Why was the project granted support?

Through artistic methods, the project challenges conventional ideas about how society should function and explores new perspectives on the challenges facing humanity, society, and nature.
