Fa’ael is a program of work which aims to build the capacity of cultural managers and activists working in difficult conditions and targeting communities in crisis, with a focus on the Arab region, Iraq and Sudan.
This program has two main components: a training workshop for cultural managers working in communities in crisis across the Arab region, and an in-depth project support program of these projects.
The project is supported with 2 247 688 SEK.
What the program delivers
Development of cultural managers in the Arab region to design and implement cultural projects, train others, and engage in wider discourses in their societies about the connection between arts and culture, and social change.
