If EU is to manage to significantly reduce its climate emissions, courageous decision-makers and broad support are needed for changes that are both long-term and major.
In this project, the Stichting European Climate Foundation (EFC) wants to create the conditions for EU citizens and strengthen their commitment and acceptance for powerful political climate measures. Positive results have been seen in places where  Citizen assemblies have been focus and have had an advisory function. Within the project, the EFC will investigate how the model can be developed and spread to more places, focusing on countries that are particularly important for climate development.

The project is supported with 4 960 000 SEK.
