One million Swedes participate in the Swedish Postcode Lottery and contribute to a better world for people, animals, and nature.
The lottery’s 1 billion SEK surplus is distributed to the Swedish Postcode Lottery Foundation, as well as to 61 other charitable organizations.
The Swedish Postcode Lottery Foundation receives around 200 million SEK a year from the Swedish Postcode Lottery.
We distribute these funds to hundreds of new civil society projects that make a difference in local communities, across Sweden and around the world.

Stories from the Field
See all stories
– Loss, forced maturity, constant stress – unfortunately, all of this has become part of childhood for many Ukrainian children. That is why psychosocial support is one of the core areas the Foundation is developing. Voices Camp is not just a place for rest. It is a safe space where a child is heard, accepted, and supported in coping with their experience of war. We see such initiatives as an investment in future generations and in the future of our country.”
Voices Camp: A Safe Space for Healing and Hope
– With funding from The Swedish Postcode Lottery Foundation, The Nature Conservancy is supporting small-scale seaweed farmers to increase their production, reduce impacts on 500 hectares of habitat, and build greater resilience for both people and nature in the face of climate change impacts. “
Insight into the Nature Conservancy
– We hope that the experience of the exhibition, together with meetings and conversations with researchers and guides, will create an increased awareness of the future through multisensory and emotional experiences.”
Interview with Guided by Nature
– The evidence uncovered through this project and our wider work will continue to be used from local to international levels to strengthen calls for action on accountability, human rights protections and access to justice.”
Interview with Airwars
– Ceasefire believes that organisations working to ensure reparations for victims of human rights violations must prioritise a victim-centred approach, foster inclusivity, and advocate for legal and procedural reforms. “
