Girls in the Lead is an international network of women lead sports for development organizations that seek to empower women and girls in sport through building the capacity of sport for development organisations in the areas of program design, impact assessment, and advocacy. The international girls’ empowerment network focus on sharing expertise, joint learning, and setting benchmarks of best practices, promoting excellence in the sector. Through workshops in 6 different countries, a digital learning platform and a global summit they initiate collaboration, learning, and low-threshold access to tools and expertise for the benefit of girls’ empowerment organisations in the field of sport for development and their beneficiaries.
