Older is a group that is exposed for discrimination, but there is no outspoken protection for their rights. In a lot of countries, the rights of older people are not implemented, and there is no international conventions specifically addressing the group older people. Age International will in this project,  together with the Global Alliance for the Rights of Older People (GAROP), work to create a global movement for the rights of older people and run advocacy to realize a international convention. Civil society organisations and activists will get support to make national and international campaigns.
