In this project, Hörvik-Krokås Hembygdsförening aims to unite the community and foster pride and togetherness by creating and screening a film about Hörvik’s recovery after the oil spill in Pukaviksbukten. The film will consist of several shorter segments shown at local restaurants, Sharevik, a photo exhibition at the community center, and during Nostalgia Day, among other events. These segments will later be combined into a full-length film, which will premiere at the community center on the one-year anniversary of the disaster.
Why was the project granted support?
The project contributes to the goal of “welcoming more people into neighborhood communities” in line with the Neighborhood Initiative’s theory of change.
